ABOUT OUR CHURCH
We believe in God's amazing GRACE! We need God's grace because we are sinners by nature and alienated from God. But, we believe there is HOPE! We believe that by God's grace, through faith in Jesus Christ people can be saved from their sins and enjoy fellowship with Him, now and forever!
We are Baptist in doctrine and practice and we encourage you to read our constitution in order to know more about us. Our only rule for faith and practice is the Word of God as revealed in the 66 books of the Bible. In order to summarize our understanding of what the Bible teaches on various topics and doctrines, we have adopted the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith as our confession.
MISSIONS
We believe in sharing the gospel locally, statewide, nationwide, and internationally. We support several mission endeavors including: Jim and Carolyn Dowdy (teaching missionaries to Mexico and South America), Crisis Pregnancy Centers, Samaritan's Purse, Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, Annie Armstrong Easter Offering, The Cooperative Program of the SBC, Georgia Baptist Mission Board, Mell Baptist Association, Voice of the Martyrs, as well as a benevolence ministry.

MINISTRIES
Throughout the year, we also plan various fellowship and ministry activities. Sometimes those activities are age related and sometimes we participate as an entire group. Whether it be a youth trip to St. George Island, FL; a day on the lake with everyone; pizza and roller skating with the kids; breakfast between Sunday School and Worship; a chartered bus trip to the Creation Museum & Ark Encounter in Kentucky; sharing a Thanksgiving meal in our pastor's home, or a picnic at Reed Bingham, we simply enjoy doing things together! We also plan outreach activities such as block parties, a local wild game supper, vacation Bible school, door-to-door visitation, assisted living outreach ministries, Christmas caroling, etc.
